Debra Janssen is president and chief executive officer of CDS Global, a leading provider of customer information and data management solutions to businesses around the world. She is responsible for the company’s business vision and leadership of its 16 facilities with some 2,500 employees.

Janssen has over 25 years of experience working with customer data, security and high-volume transaction processing. Prior to joining CDS Global, she served as group executive of Integrated Processing Solutions and managing director of Access Prepaid Worldwide at MasterCard Worldwide where she was responsible for the company’s global debit and prepaid processing platform.

In 2013, Iowa Governor Terry Branstad appointed Janssen to the board of the Iowa Partnership on Economic Progress, a bipartisan advisory council focused on creating jobs, increasing family incomes and enlarging the state’s gross product. Janssen began her career at Metavante Corporation, an outsourcing provider for the financial services industry, where from 1984 to 1998 she held multiple leadership positions including senior vice president and chief information officer. Her next career step took her to Deluxe Electronic Payment Systems where as president and chief executive officer she guided a then floundering company to achieve financial growth while increasing customer satisfaction. She was promoted to chief executive officer of eFunds Corporation and entrusted to head a new start-up inside the parent company of Deluxe Corporation.

Additionally, Janssen held the position of president and chief executive officer at Hallmark Cards, Inc./eBizmix.com. She was president of Debit Services Group and the STAR Network at First Data Corporation where she oversaw the debit and ATM processing business for over 6,000 financial institutions, and served as executive vice president of EFT Processing Services for Fidelity Information Services, a global payments processor.

Janssen received her liberal arts degree from the University of Wisconsin.
